so whatever they have labeled you
 however you have been blamed
you don’t have to be embarrassed
you don’t have to wear that name

you feel like you are something less
 maybe sometimes less is more
see the beauty in your brokenness
find that strength and make it yours
fear is not your home anymore

Urgent Care 03:26
the unjust cannot stand this is not okay! though you can't hear me see what i convey   then anger and a gesture found their way into the song a flock of birds responded "sir, you are in the wrong!"   but i am not that small i am not that man! unless i am driving then i guess i am   when anger and a gesture find their way into the song a still, small voice reminded me "you're also in the wrong!"

Not 4 Long 04:34
crew, blue and green, through a screen i was seen cheering for you true, as a team it would seem my self-esteem was wrapped up in you my hope is in you (but) i don’t have a clue it’s a tweet, it’s a meme it’s a product, not a team just athletes, not heroes with contracts, contracts, their contracts have so, so, so many zeroes you, you are mean and by that, I mean that I mean nothing to you you, you speak about dreams but it seems that your dreams are just revenue (now) I hope that you’re through “to thine own self be true.”
9.
Lazy Susan 03:06
where should we go? oh, i don’t know between here and the sea it don’t make much difference to me   it seems my laziness knows no bounds this pillow might be the softest I’ve ever found is it synthetic or is it down? in any case, removing this stupid pillowcase well… it seems a lot of trouble   where should we go? oh, i don’t know between here and the sea it don’t make much difference to me   you want to know where we should go between here and the sea as if it makes some difference to me

about

The enigmatic recording project titled Dish Washington comes from an obscure musical hotbed in the north: Anchorage, Alaska. A five-piece, indie-minded band made up of friends and family members was formed in the fall of 2021 with the goal to perform live — a difficult proposition with the pandemic going into its second year. They wrote original material that reflected the obvious hardships of the time, but focused on the beauty that could come from it.

Stylistically, their music is a potluck. An eclectic amalgam of blues, classic 70s and post-rock influences, the sonic casserole provides a tasty backdrop for Jonae Berg's soaring and sassy vocals. Eventually, they performed at some local shows before two band members departed to plan their summer wedding. They shifted into recording mode, resulting in their full-length, self-titled LP.

Released on 11/01/2022, the album is 33:33 in length. "It's a victory for numeric redundancy and home recording!" declared songwriter/guitarist Brett Rawalt.
